Some colleges offer students the opportunity to interview. This is a great way for students to learn more about the college and for the college to learn about the applicant outside of the application. Some interviews are with an admissions officer on campus, while others are with local alumni. If a college offers an interview opportunity, it is a good idea to schedule it. Some interviews are evaluative while others are simply informative. Either way, an interview is a chance for the applicant to put their best foot forward and shine. It is important to practice and prepare.
